To Angela and all the staff
of Nephin Halls;
I would first like to state how much I have
appreciated the last 5 years that I have been
a resident in
Nephin. It is the place I have called home for
the last 5 years and for every year I have felt
part of the
Nephin Family.
As a student Nephin provided me with a healthy
environment for study and care whilst I prepared
my
thesis work and dissertations I have always
had the best of services as Nephin have always
shown a
students first attitude.
As a student and as President of the SU I have
always observed that Nephin has always followed
its
mission statement to provide quality housing
for students but goes way beyond in its level
of care and
understanding for its residents.
As two times Students Union President I have
seen the very best in human nature echoed in
the
approach Nephin halls has towards students particularly
those in most of need or care with a
willingness to work with students and their
families to find solutions to problems in their
everyday
lives.
As President of the SU Nephin has continued
to share the burden of student care by helping
identify
students in need of help and working with the
GMIT and the Students Union to help provide
the level
of care required. This is an enormous undertaking
and goes above and beyond what should be
expected from halls of residence.
Thank you so much for everything providing me
with my home and my extended family.
